IMPROVISATION FOR THE ACTOR

Hours: 7:00 - 9:30pm | 19h - 21:30h

Location: Rua Actor Vale 16B, Lisboa

Class Size: 6 - 14 Participants

This course takes place over 10 weeks. A 1-hour showcase performance will be presented on the 10th class. 

Pre-Requisites: No Acting or Improv Experience Required

Course Description:

Improvisational Theatre is a great way to get a different perspective on the craft of Acting. Improvisation uses the same tools as Traditional Acting (connection, listening, character, stagecraft), but without the restriction of a script. This pushes the actor to access deeper levels of imagination and creativity, to discover and explore their own individual uniqueness. In this 10-week course participants will learn and practice Improvisational Theatre skills and techniques; then discuss how the Actor can apply these tools to their craft. 

 

Get a new perspective of your craft. Add some improv to your actors tool kit.

No acting or improv experience required.  On the final class there will be a performance showcase for your family and friends, to show them what you’ve been up to.
